The Mediterranean™ 40 in Sapphire Blue installed by Leisure Pools Northern Kentucky

Sometimes the most challenging pool projects result in the most rewarding outcomes. Leisure Pools’ August 2025 Pool of the Month, built by Leisure Pools Northern Kentucky in a Union, Kentucky neighborhood, is a perfect example of how determination, creativity, and expert craftsmanship can transform a simple backyard into an extraordinary aquatic paradise.

The project required careful sequencing, with the pool installation completed first, followed by all the custom features. The tube slide was the final piece, requiring precise assembly of the multiple sections to achieve the correct angles and water flow.

Access was excellent for the installation, with equipment able to reach the backyard from the side yard without requiring crane work over the house. However, the customization aspects—particularly the slide assembly and water line integration—presented unique challenges that the pool installation team successfully navigated.
